Joli Kobe

Since Joli Kobe changed chefs, there has been a lot more buzz about it, including their ramen. We headed over there one weekend afternoon for lunch.

The ramen is tonkatsu ramen, richly porky. Too rich, Josh said. The pork is fatty, ringed with fat outside. And the creamy pork stock is delicious.

The egg looks cooked through, but it was so soft that it cut right through and broke into delicious pieces.

I enjoyed it, though I was hungry sooner than I would have preferred.
