But Todd told me that they would do a corned beef and cabbage dinner, which it seemed he hadn't even created yet. Score! So we went back the next night for dinner, a pretty indulgent one.
I started off with this salmon belly with a quail egg which was so delicious and rich. The salmon belly was so unctuous, rich with fat. It was meltingly tender.

We hadn't tried the new deviled eggs yet, so we had to give em a try. Tasty as always.
From there, matzo ball soup.
And then... the corned beef and cabbage. Rich pieces of corned beef -- you can see the thin layer of fat in the picture. And delicious cabbage. A rich mustard sauce. And potatoes! So good. Also so rich.
For dessert! A creme anglaise rice pudding. Actually too rich for me. Very thick.
