First course: chopped liver. From first taste, I could tell this one was different -- and special. It was richer, deeper, so delicious. As it turns out, it's different from the usual chopped liver recipe. This one has smoked duck livers plus veal and cognac. Todd says he's going to do it for every Passover. Damn, I hope he does it for other meals, too.
Then, matzoh ball soup. Good as always. But soup is filling so early in a large meal.
Salmon gefilte fish. This was probably my least favorite dish. I've never had gefilte fish before but I assume this was a pretty good rendition.
Potato kugel, tzimmes, charoset. I think I liked the charoset the most, but they were all passable for me.
Brisket. Delicious.
Josh got the flourless chocolate almond torte. He said it was great.
I got the orange almond cake. So light and fluffy. Delicious.
A very filing meal. Great flavors, as always.
