I had some some research before hand so I had an idea of what to order.
The first thing that everyone said to order was these Chengdu style cold noodles. Spicy, salty, delicious. And superior to any I've had in the city. It's extra delicious when you are able to pull up the sauce from the bottom which settles as you eat.
The other thing everyone says to order is these Chengdu dumplings with red chili oil. Thick-skinned and meaty-delicious inside. You need to mix up the spicy soy mixture and drizzle it on top instead of swashing the dumpling in the sauce. So good.
For our main, we got a dish similar to our favorite at Tasty China II, the fish filet and tofu with chili sauce. It was SO good. It looked smaller than the serving at Tasty China II, but I thought the flavor was richer, deeper. I really enjoyed it.
What a great place! So glad we went.
