Spring finally arrived. When we bought this house, it was mid- to late-Spring so many of the flowers and trees were in bloom. After a bare winter, I had forgotten what everything would look like in bloom. And it was riotous and beautiful.
The ornamental peach tree in the front of the house is small but its flowers are almost as pretty as the plum tree.
Another view of the peach tree.
In the backyard, one corner is dedicated to these brightly colored azaleas. They look far better than the trimmed azalea bushes at the old house.
The Japanese maple in front of the house sudden burst into leaves.
More Japanese maple. I just like this picture for some reason.
The Japanese maple from the street. It's big!
More peach tree pictures.
And one more peach.
The plum tree dropped all its flowers and now is full of leaves. I guess all the fruit trees we have do this.
I don't know what these red flowers are, but they are under the Japanese maple.
The two weeping cherry trees are pretty big and seemed slow to floom.
But as the flowers bloomed, they were beautiful.
Opposite from the azaleas are these pretty flowers.
They are beautiful, too, but no idea what they are called.
