Marketing
It was a short and blurry trip to the farmer's market this morning. I had taken a Nyquil the night before because Josh is sick and I felt the rumblings of a sickness in my own chest. That meant I was bleary-eyed as I got up, unsure of if I had corn waiting for me and wondering what to feed us for the rest of the week.
It turns out we did not have corn waiting -- that will be next week -- but I returned the boxes from the tomatoes. I picked up tomatoes from three different farmers. The little plum ones in the top left from McMullan, the flowerlife ones in the bottom from Burge, and the others from Indian Ridge.
I know we still have a lot of stuff from last week so I picked up only two ears of corn and some sweet peppers from McMullan, chanterelles from Indian Ridge, and okra from Burge. I also got a generous handful (though I fear even now they are not enough!) of jalapenos from Burge for a batch of breakfast burritos.
I also restocked our Decimal Place Farm feta since we are nearly out.
The eggplants are doing very well! I think some might be harvestable next week!
