We have some small patty pans that are growing. Hooray! There are a lot of male blossoms too, but sadly many of them are blossoming and falling off before we even know it.
The purple peppers are doing well also. It's nice to seem them grow.
Here is today's harvest! I can't harvest tomatoes because I break out in a rash of blisters where the vines touch me. Josh tells me that one of these bowls has san marzanos at the bottom. There's also a good number of squash blossoms, a normal-sized cucumber, and a couple purple peppers. Not sure what I'm going to do with it all but it'll work out.
Friends said that they made a sauce with cherry tomatoes and it was the best damn sauce. I'll have to peel some tomatoes later but I'll probably do the same. The big tomatoes are definitely ripening. I'm excited for them. Hope they turn out well.
