The disadvantage of not going to the farmers market these days means that we have fewer dinners like this.
Heritage Farms bone-in strip steak with chimichurri using herbs from our garden and Il Bel Cuore olive oil. Our own black krims from the garden. Salad with our own cherry tomatoes and a buttermilk ranch dressing I made. Indian Ridge chanterelles sauteed in butter. And fava beans with mint from the garden.
So granted, we have some stuff that's not local, but mostly.
Delicious.
