I know, I said I would stop posting the same old pictures of my toro obsession. But I can't help it.
when Taka posted that he had great toro for the end of the year, I definitely wanted to go. But with the plans we already had, it had to be that night.
I called and made a reservation at the bar, and I'm lucky we did because it was packed when we got there.
No surprise, I started with the negitorodon, which I swear you can see in the picture just how amazing the toro is.
From there, we got the sashimi omakase as always and you can see four beautiful servings of the toro, plus some spectacular tuna in the middle.
To finish up, I got the oxtail udon which Taka recommended over the regular udon. Basically, it's udon in healthy body soup! Spicy, rich, delicious. Good.
