Iberico

We placed our annual Christmas order with La Tienda. Bacalao, bomba rice, a new paella pan, and some goodies for the holiday.

We ordered the iberico de Bellota from 5J, a new product, that is supposed to be the best. We also got more of the delicious anchovy stuffed olives and some peppers that a lot of people talked about loving. Josh likes them a lot.

And then from Whole Foods, a selection of cheeses to match. On the left, a cow/goat/sheep cheese in the style of Manchego; then a soft tallegio; and then a very good gorgonzola dolce that was my favorite.

We waited a good time for me to recover before having the iberico but I was worried about how it was deteriorating over time. I still wasn't quite recovered when we had it, but it was pretty damn good.

I also bought Josh a sampler of some Galician seafood. Can't wait to open that!
