A garden update

While my garden is rather young and a little sad, I'm nonetheless proud and excited about it. And so, here is a collection of updates from the last month.

My little succulents are doing quite well. The stone plant has shed itself several times and the little guy to his right blooms these pretty flowers. Apparently, putting them outside was the right thing to do.

I have even bought them a new friend, one who isn't pictured yet. I'll let him adjust to my yard and then show him to you.

When the painters were here doing the house, I had to move all the vegetables from their spots next to the house and deeper into the driveway. As it turns out, they weren't getting enough sun where they were so they are much happier out in the middle of nothing.

For the most part, everything is growing rather slowly. The farthest along by far are the cauliflowers, which look like baseball-sized fluffs.

The leafage of the vegetables looks fairly decent from afar. If only you knew that I planted them in September... then you would be sad for me. As you should be.

The lettuces are also doing better, though still rather small and not yet harvestable. But they look cute, don't they?

Here is the bloom of the broccoli. He's rather wee, but it's exciting just to see that he has sprouted. I'm hopeful that they will grow up properly.
