Floataway Cafe

Last night, we headed out to Floataway and sat at the bar. I started off with a rum drink with Gosling's black rum which is almost like port plus lime and orange juices and an egg white. Delightfully easy to drink and strong! We started off with a wild mushroom pizza which was delicious as always. We ate half and took half home which served as breakfast before the market.

For a main, I got a whole roasted loup de mer which was served with a light arugula salad. The loup de mer was fantastic and I took a long time (as usual) eating it, but I ate every last bit. Josh ate most of my arugula. I tend to forget about the extras when eating a whole fish. Josh got the cioppino which had head-on Georgia shrimp. I was lucky enough to get all the shrimp heads to chomp to smithereens. They were delicious.

For dessert, an early strawberry pie with strawberry sorbet and a flight of Dawn Marie's recently finished 'cellos: grapefruit, lemon, and strawberry. They were all excellent. And strong.

Yum. A delicious dinner indeed.
