Thursday night dinner

I have a new camera. It's a little point and shoot Nikon to replace the Sony cybershot that I've been using for years. The Sony was fine, but I was starting to have a lot of problems with things being in focus, which I attributed to me moving as I took the picture. But when I use my phone to take pictures, everything is so clear. So I decided I needed a new camera. But as you can see, I'm really still learning to take photos with it. Please bear with me.

I'm not a fan of leftovers, but you really need to finish them. So here we have left over roasted cauliflower. You may remember I said it was a little lackluster. I sauteed it and added more salt. That was what it needed. Much better.

This is the worst looking picture I've taken in a long time. But it was a simple arugula salad with lemon juice, olive oil, and shaved parmigiano reggiano. Delicious.

French filet beans, sauteed with garlic. I actually have some trouble cooking filet beans. I want to cook them less but then they taste raw. But I would hate myself for overcooking them. These came out perfectly.

Leftover Manzanilla olives stuffed with anchovies from new year. Still as good as I remembered.

Dinner! We had all that with some kobe coulotte. Three minutes on each side in a smokin' hot cast iron skillet.
