A dinner of truffles


White truffle season is a relatively short, running from November until early January. Normally, I try to have white truffles at least a couple times each season, but thus far, I had only had them once and I was sad that I had missed out. But then, an email from Marco at Antica Posta said that he had just gotten more white Alba truffles! We were able to score a dinner with M&N with truffles.

So we started off with a couple starters: wood-grilled octopus, beef carpaccio. And then, for me and M, the tagliolini with white truffles. Josh got the risotto. And N, she went with the zuppa.

Delicious. So delicious.


I was still hungry. It didn't take much to convince Josh and M to get something else. We opted for the delicious medium rare prime ribeye you see here. So good.
