Honey Pig photos

Well, I finally got around to pulling the Honey Pig images off the camera. Here they are:

The top half of the Honey Pig menu. We got the Sliced Honey Pig Baby Pork Belly and the Prime Short Rib, which I assume is really prime meat. It was pretty damn good. I would definitely get the prime short rib againm but I might go for the brisket or something else for the second meat next time. I mean, I love pork, and pork fat, as much as the next obsessive foodie, but it just didn't do it for me.

Here's the bbq all loaded up. (They use a big cast iron dome top. It looks like a flipped over wok.) You have your sprouts topped with kimchi all around it, pork belly around the top with the prime short ribs behind. There are some random mushrooms and onions strewn about.

Now you can see all these sprouts and kimchi in front of where I was sitting. J had just as much in front of him, and his was almost all gone when it came time for the fried rice part where they collect everything you didn't eat, add rice, mix, cook, and serve.

Rice wrapper all filled out for eating. That's a piece of the short rib there with some sprouts and the lettuce/herb/scallion mixture. Good, but kind of greasy.

Well, nothing can compare to the daikon disks. They are our favorites. The vinegary taste is both cooling and wildly addicting. I think this is the same combo as above.
