Cat food

My cats are spoiled. They have two kinds of food, both Iams. Upstairs is the Iams "Original", oceanfish flavor. Downstairs, they have the Iams healthy natural, salmon flavor, which, as advertised, really does make them more energetic.

But this post is really about cats eating human food. Our cats don't eat table food, but they don't seem to really want to, either. We've tried feeding them all sorts of meats and seafood from the table, and happily, they just don't care.

Miso, of all the three cats, eats the most table food. She has, in the past, eaten prosciutto and orange sherbet. Today, she tried some liverwurst. She likes the salt, I think. Of course, they all eat canned tuna. It's one of their treats.

Sprocket, one of my former roommate's cats, used to really have a thing for deli meat.

On another note, I donate money to the Guide Dog Foundation. It's a non-profit group that trains and gives away dogs (for free!) to blind people in need of seeing eye dogs. In the last newsletter that I received, I saw that if you save your Iams and Eukanuba UPC labels and send them in to the Guide Dog Foundation, they in turn send them to Iams who sends them coupons. That seems nice. So, if you have pets and you use Iams or Eukanuba, and you don't mind saving and sending your UPC labels, here's where they go:
