Birthday dinner


It was Josh's birthday. We headed over to Antica Posta for dinner. We started off with this ‎2000 Quinterelli Giuseppe valpolicella. It was awesome.

We started off with the beef carpaccio which was delicious as always. Then the Zolfini beans. Then the foie gras with vin santo reduction. Mmmm, so good.


From there, we went into the truffle course. It's hard to go to Antica Posta during white truffle season and not indulge. Risotto for Josh, tagliolini for me.

Delicious.


I was still a bit hungry. And we needed some wine to go with it. So we went with this 2006 Nardi Brunello di Montalcino. It was great.


And that last course we had was the prime ribeye, beautifully cooked to medium rare.

Delicious dinner. We don't come here enough.
