Well, what would a trip home be without a trip to Imperial Palace?

Apparently, my dad doesn't get to eat these
sea snails in black bean sauce when it's just him and mom. So we get them often now. They are like little escargots that you dig out of the shell with a toothpick (being careful to detach the poop trail if it's there). I like them more than escargots personally, and they don't come from a can! And I like black beans. Yum.

This is one of my mom's favorites, grouper "cubes" with mixed vegetables: snow peas and celery. The grouper was excellent. Even though I don't really like celery, it added a nice flavor to the dish.

What can I say? I love the lobster with ginger and scallions and so does Josh. It's just so much delicousness in one dish. Only in Chinese places can you get the whole lobster including all the tomalley. I loves it. Once I have this though, I start to crave it constantly. We can get it here in Atlanta, but it's not as good. I guess you make do with what you can get though.

Crab rice is sure tasty. The crab shell tops are always full of the tasty gooey stuff. When it gets in the rice, it's all a lot of tasty.

We finished off with bowls of the sweet red bean soupy stuff. Yum.
