First dinner!


First dinner cooked on the new cooktop in the new kitchen!

Josh found some wonderful coho salmon at Whole Foods and he said the nice guy at the fish counter cut us a piece from the thickest part.  Simply cooked with a little butter, s+p, it was beautiful.

There was a flurry of searching for and opening boxes to try to find the right pots and pans, but we got it all done.

In addition to the coho, we had the butter beans, sauteed Silver Queen corn with some Jimmy Nardello peppers from our garden, and a sliced Cherokee Purple tomato.

Oh, and a nice white burgundy.  It was nice to eat at home. :)
